Haus of Bavaria began with a simple frustration: the fine European tableware sold in North America was usually mass-produced, re-branded, and stripped of its story. Our founders spent a season driving between small Bavarian towns, meeting the makers whose family workshops have shaped porcelain, glass, and wood for generations. The result is a different kind of retailer — we buy directly from 23 family-run ateliers, and we tell you exactly who made what you are holding.

Every piece that leaves our warehouse travels with provenance documentation: the workshop, the region, the materials, and the maker's own care instructions. When a family puts a pitcher on a wedding registry, they know the name of the village it came from.

What we offer

• Heirloom-grade porcelain: dinner services, serving pieces, and figurines thrown and glazed by hand.

Because we import direct, we can do things the big home goods chains cannot. White-glove delivery is free on larger orders, and each shipment is planned to cut transit damage — a broken heirloom should never happen in the first place. On the rare piece that arrives imperfect, replacement starts before the box is back in the mail.
